In collaboration with our client Creative Spark, Virtual Designs' web development team had the opportunity to work on the V&A Waterfront's website. As one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Western Cape, their website needed to reflect their prestige and also provide an effortless and pleasant experience to web visitors from around the globe.
Our efforts in this project leaned heavily on our knowledge of WordPress and included building custom post types in WordPress CMS for the client, Creative Spark. As with most modern day websites, this site was built responsive – able to fit the screen of any device used for browsing, from Smartphone to Tablet or computer.
The website also makes use of external CSS files and links off to the V&A Waterfront's various social media pages, by simply clicking on the relevant icon featured on the footer of the page.
