Client: Old Cape Quarter
Working with the vision and guidance of the Old Cape Quarter team, Virtual Designs was tasked with revamping the existing Old Cape Quarter website, in order to make it more informative and easier for online visitors to navigate and enjoy.
The main objective for the Old Cape Quarter website is to showcase the new development of high end apartments, selling now and due for completion in 2020. The website is clean, attractive and enticing to property investors who looking to purchase an apartment in this historically significant and trendy suburb within Cape Town’s city. In addition to modernizing the existing Old Cape Quarter website, we also ensured that a sound responsive application was in place, meaning that the website is able to fit the screen of any device used to browse it through. Our Virtual Designs’ copywriting department created descriptive content for the site’s introductory page that perfectly describes the living spaces as well as the surrounding areas of the Old Cape Quarter.
The Old Cape Quarter website was designed using HTML 5, which supports multiple media elements and allows for improved interactions. We also added a lightbox gallery to the gallery page, allowing for a more enhanced visual experience, and we also embedded a video onto the site’s homepage. The completed website also comprises of header and footer menus of easy-to-access pages.
